Currently there are thousands of active curlers in the UK. Following the fantastic Gold Medal wins at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics the sport has been gathering momentum throughout the UK.

The 60 metre by 30 metre ice rink at SnOasis will provide an international standard venue for curling competitions and championships at all levels. Also, with the training facilities housed in the sports complex available to curlers ranging from school children to elite athletes, it is expected that SnOasis will become a centre of excellence and focal point for the sport.
